Our Story

We never set out to build a brand — we were drawn into a story God had been writing for nearly 150 years.

Hidden in the hills of Northern California, we discovered an ancient olive orchard planted in 1885 by a pioneer named William Shillingsburg, a man whose lineage reaches back to the earliest chapters of American history. His family line includes a relative of General Nathanael Greene — George Washington’s most trusted commander and second‑in‑command during the Revolutionary War. Legacy, stewardship, and devotion to purpose were woven into his heritage long before he ever set foot in California.

In the late 1800s, Shillingsburg named his estate Vernon Park, a tribute to George Washington’s Mount Vernon — a symbolic gesture of honor toward the very lineage and leadership his family was connected to. When we became the next caretakers of this forgotten grove, we restored the name in his honor. Today, our home and orchard bear the name Vernon Park Estates, carrying forward the heritage he began.

The trees he planted were believed lost to time — a rare, nearly extinct cultivar born in the Wild West era, known today as the Redding Picholine, the oldest of their kind in the world.

The day we stepped beneath their tangled canopy, time seemed to pause. The air shifted. The grove felt alive, as if the trees themselves leaned in, whispering their long‑buried story. What others saw as overgrown, unharvestable, and forgotten, we felt as sacred. Preserved. Waiting.

We came to understand that these trees weren’t just survivors. They were protected — held through drought, fire, neglect, and generations of silence. Preserved for a purpose.

And when they whispered, we listened.

Piece by piece, we uncovered the orchard’s history: the scandal of mislabeled trees, the surrounding farmers who burned theirs down, the lineage that should have vanished but somehow endured here, untouched. We realized we were standing in a living remnant of American heritage — a grove God Himself had kept hidden until the appointed time.

From that moment, stewardship became our mission.

Every bottle we craft comes from these extraordinary trees, pressed from a cultivar no one else in the world possesses. Our oil is exclusive not by design, but by destiny — a heritage ingredient preserved through history and entrusted to us to restore.

Our first offering was anointing oil, blended with biblical botanicals and prayed over bottle by bottle. From there, our vision expanded into skincare and wellness — olive‑rooted products that nourish both body and spirit, each one handcrafted with reverence for the land, the legacy, and the God who preserved it.

This is more than a business. More than a grove. More than a product line.

This is a testimony — a revival of what was nearly lost, and a reminder that perhaps we were born for such a time as this.
